As a community outreach, our school is participating with Two Men and a Truck and the Waterfront Rescue Mission to be a blessing to women in shelters this Mothers’ Day. Please drop off your donations for this worthy cause by Friday, April 27th.

Thank you all for your participation in our fundraisers last week. We had a fun time at Chuck E. Cheese and the photo sessions with Antiquities were great. The photographer will return on May 4th with your portraits. Please plan to pick them up on this day.

Achievement Testing begins tomorrow!! Please be sure your student gets plenty of rest and a good breakfast each day. The tests will end on Friday, April 23rd. Arriving at school each day and on time is a must for these days. We appreciate your full cooperation in this matter.

Yearbooks will go on sale next Monday for the presale price of $15. After May 7th they will sell for $20.

Looking for a safe, fun-filled environment for your child this summer? Summer Camp at MPCS begins June 7th and goes through August 13th. Weekly Field trips to Triple Play, Oops Alley, YMCA for swimming and much more guarantee your child a great summer! Go on-line for a discount coupon and receive a free registration!

FAB PHOTOS will be on campus this Wednesday and Thursday for Spring Pictures. The students do not have to wear their school uniform on their picture day.

Thank you all who attended our Spaghetti Supper and Open House in February. We had a great time of fellowship and enjoyed a great meal!! A special “Thank You” to Dominic and Maegan Arduini for the countless hours they spent preparing our dinner and to the MP Youth that helped to serve. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Our PTO has already been working on this year’s Yearbook and they are in the process of selling ads. We are asking that you would consider buying an ad for several reasons:
▪ To send your child a special message – one they will keep and treasure forever
▪ To help provide a quality, color keepsake of this school year
▪ To help keep the cost of the yearbook low
▪ Yearbook ads are a great tool to advertise your business to other school parents and

Jogging Club
Weather permitting – Jogging Club will start on Thursday, March 18th. More information and permission slips will come home next week.

Free Fridays
Friday, March 19th has been set aside for the students to have the freedom not to wear their uniform to school. We do ask that students not wear midriff shirts or shorts above the mid-thigh. Dresses or shirts with “spaghetti straps” should be worn over a t-shirt.

We had a very successful fundraiser with our Coupon Books. We sold a total of $5,900.00. Thanks again to all of you that participated. Congratulations to the following top sellers and to Mrs. Sanders’ 1st Grade for being the top selling class.

After dinner the classrooms will be open and the students will have a brief presentation of some of their accomplishments so far this year. You will also have the opportunity to visit the classroom of your child’s teacher for next year.
